Rush City School Board Vacancy Announcement
Dear Rush City Community Members,
There will be a vacancy on the Rush City School Board of Education and we are seeking a dedicated and passionate community member to fill this interim position through December 31, 2025.
Requirements to Hold Office:

At least 21 years of age

U.S. Citizen and eligible to vote
-
Resident of School District #139 for at least 30 days
-
No record of criminal sexual misconduct for which registration is required
Important Information:

Application End Date: July 29, 2024, 11:59 PM

Interviews will be scheduled on the evening of August 13, 2024

- You must be available virtually or preferably in person

The School Board will appoint the new member at their regularly scheduled board meeting on August 15, 2024

If available, the newly elected member will be invited to attend the board retreat on August 18, 2024
