During the fall of 2014 the Rush City School Board engaged the school and community in a strategic planning process, with the assistance of consultant Bruce Miles. Surveys and meetings were used to get input from community members, employees, and students. The school board, administration, and a leadership team worked with Bruce Miles to summarize information, to identify priorities and goals, and to report back to the community.
Four priority areas were identified with supporting goal statements. Several SMART goals have been developed to focus efforts related to the priority areas, some SMART goals have been completed, and some SMART goals are in progress. Additional SMART goals will be developed so the four priority areas receive ongoing attention by the school board and administration.
