1:1 Chromebook
We are excited to announce that we are expanding student access to digital devices to all students in the high school. Beginning this fall, students in grades 7-12 will be issued a Chromebook along with a protective case for use in school and at home, unless they bring their own device with a keyboard.

Chromebooks will assist our students by providing access to digital materials at home as well as at school. Students will be able to utilize email and calendars to help them stay organized, improve communication, and assist them in learning to manage the technological skills prevalent in society today. Each year we are seeing more classroom materials and textbooks available online. Students will have access to this information whenever and wherever they may be without needing to carry all of their textbooks with them. We will also be strengthening the digital citizenship of our students.

Many students have their own device and have utilized them during the past school years. If your child prefers to use their own device and can bring this device to school each day, a district owned Chromebook is not required. We will verify which students plan to provide their own device during the first days of school.

You must pay $45 (insurance protection) in order for your student to have the ability to take the Chromebook home each day. Other options are available. Please review the Device Loan Agreement attached below for more information. Please call the high school office if you have any questions. 320-358-4795.
