School Messenger

The School Board of Independent School District 139 has approved the use of School Messenger as a way to improve communication to parents and staff. School Messenger is an automated notification and emergency communication system.

The mission of School Messenger is to help schools reach parents. Schools struggle with same-day and night-before parent notification for school cancellation, schedule changes and unplanned events. School Messenger helps schools by empowering principals and administrators to notify parents quickly using automated phone, email and *text message (SMS) broadcasts.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to login to ParentVue and update contact information. If you want to opt out of any contact method, leave that field blank. The home phone field should be regarded as the primary phone number. The email field should be regarded as the primary email address.

*SMS messages are limited in characters - too short to fully explain an emergency situation - for parents that rely on that form of communication please check your voicemail or email for all the details. If you didn't "Opt in" to SMS (text) messaging you won't receive them. If you have changed your mind simply text the word YES to 67587 from your phone.
