High School Guidance Counselor (Interim)
Our High School (Grades 7-12) is seeking a full-time interim Guidance Counselor for the 2020-21 school year.  Duties include leading high school scheduling/registration, college/career, social/emotional counseling, and testing.  Also assists with MTSS processes, student groups, and other duties.  Appropriate Minnesota licensure is required.  Contact High School Principal Brent Stavig at bstavig@rushcity.k12.mn.us with questions.  This position is open until filled.

Food Service Supervisor
Candidates for this full-time position must have a School Nutrition Association (SNA) Level 3 Certification or at least three years of relevant school nutrition experience.  Bachelor or Associates degree in related field preferred.  Position is to start August 1, 2020.  Position responsibilities include:

- Management of the day-to-day operations of school food service for both the High School(7-12 grade and Elementary School (Pre-K-6th grade)
- Responsible for Food Service Program evaluation, planning, administration, implementation, and monitoring
- Specific tasks such as menu planning, food production, food safety, procurement, financial management, record keeping, general management, program accountability and personnel management
- Organizing and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Maintain records on daily meal counts to be used in planning and reporting
- Supervisor is a member of the High School food service team also responsible for food preparation, cleaning of kitchen areas, and equipment

This is an 8-hour a day position with an early morning start time.  Contract length is approximately 225 days.  Salary range is $24-$28/hour based on experience.  In addition to salary, compensation includes uniform allowance, paid holidays, medical insurance, 403(b) contribution and paid sick leave.  You may contact the District Office at 320-358-4855 with additional questions.

Physical Education Teacher

Health Teacher

Special Education Teacher
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for creating a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with unique needs, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Special Education Teachers provide instruction to assigned students implementing IEPs, and prepare academic materials for students following approved curricula. Special education case management includes preparation of IEPs, reports, assessment, and leading IEP team meetings. Experience with PBIS will be given preference. Special Education Licensure through MDE required. Any special education licensure is encouraged to apply, strong consideration will be given to those with SLD or ABS licensure.
