Early Childhood


Rush City Early Childhood offers a variety of programs for children ages birth - kindergarten entrance.  

Programs include:
  • Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)- classes where parents attend with the child.
  • Preschool Classes - where the child attends alone.
  • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Early Childhood Screening (ECS)

**If Rush City Schools are closed - all Early Childhood Programs (Preschool, ECFE, and Early Childhood Screening) are cancelled.

**If Rush City Schools are 2-hours late -  3-year-old preschool session A and B and AM ECFE are cancelled. Full day preschool will start at 10:00 with bus times being two hours later than normal. Early Childhood Screening appointments before 10:00 will be rescheduled. 

**If Rush City Schools are released early - Full day preschool will release at the same time as elementary school, PM ECFE classes will be cancelled, and Early Childhood Screening appointments after the time of release will be rescheduled.
