Rush City Early Childhood
Rush City Early Childhood is a busy and exciting place to be! Preschool classes are offered either 2 or 3 days per week for students ages 3 - 5 years of age. Our classes offer a mix of academic and social experiences for all children. Most classes, additionally, receive support from a highly trained MN Reading Corps member. All early childhood classrooms have SMARTboards and document cameras. Early Childhood has a small set of iPads for student use as well as a set of SMART Response interactive clickers, that allow students to answer questions at the touch of a button. Parent participation is encouraged, as parents are invited to attend preschool with their child 2 times per year. Preschool follows the general K-12 school calendar with minor exceptions.
Registrations are currently being taken for the 2014-2015 school year. Students who have turned 3 on or before September 1, 2014 may register for either of our 2 day per week classes:
Tuesday/Thursday mornings - 8:15-10:45am
Wednesday/Friday mornings - 8:15-10:45am
Students who have turned 4 on or before September 1, 2014 may register for our 3 day per week class. Currently, openings are for the afternoon section only. Round trip school district transportation is available for an additional fee, for the PM class section.
