Severe Weather Readiness
The pictures and stories related to the Moor, Oklahoma tornado damage elicits a variety of emotional responses. It is difficult to imagine the loss these families have experienced and it is rewarding to hear how people responded during and after the tornado.
In case you are wondering, we do have “safe areas” identified in the Elementary School and the High School for students and staff to use during severe weather. These safe areas were selected with assistance from Chisago Countysafety resources and from Resource Training and Solutions out of St.Cloud. We do participate in the statewide tornado drill each spring.
