Strategic Planning and CACR (Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness)
Rush City Schools are committed to an ongoing and vital strategic planning process. Our priority areas have been identified with supporting goal statements. Several SMART goals have been developed to focus efforts related to the priority areas, some SMART goals have been completed, and some SMART goals are in progress. Additional SMART goals will be developed so our priority areas receive ongoing attention by the school board and administration.
In 2025, the Rush City School Board has engaged the school and community in a new strategic planning initiative, with the assistance of consultants from TeamWorks. Focus groups have been used to get input from community members, employees, and students. The school board, administration, and a leadership team are working with TeamWorks to summarize information, to identify priorities and goals, and to report back to the community.
