Today, June 19, an incident occurred at the Rush City Aquatic Center involving a child who experienced an emergency in the pool.
Lifeguards and pool staff responded immediately and provided assistance until additional emergency responders arrived. We are grateful to the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office and Lakes Region EMS for their quick response and professional care. The child was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Our thoughts are with the child and their family, and we are hopeful for a full recovery.
