C.E. Jacobson Elementary will be hosting a Track and Field event on May 29 for students in grades 4, 5, and 6! After an Opening Ceremony at 8:30 am, running events will start at 9:00am with the 400m. Events included are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m 4x100m relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put.
How do I watch my child? You may walk around the fence line to watch your child inside the track. The finish line will be the same for all running events. The finish line is located in front of the bleachers.
How do I know what events my child is participating in? All students picked the events they wanted to participate in. If they have forgotten, on the day of the event they will have a name tag with their events on their shirt.
Will concessions be available? Yes! Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
SuperSoak Fun: If time allows, a local fire truck will come and spray water over the students. This is an optional activity. Students have the choice to do if they do not want to get wet. They do not have to go to the water area.

Information for Spectators:
Spectators must stay by the track. They ARE NOT allowed to go over to the playground or interact with students not involved with Track and Field Day.
Spectators must stay outside the track. Only exceptions will be volunteers.
Spectators may use the bathrooms at the north softball field picnic area across Tiger Way.
Spectators will cheer on students positively. Any unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. If any concerns arise please speak with a C.E.J. Staff.
Spectators will be allowed to bring chairs to sit in around the track.
Spectators are welcome to eat lunch with students. Lunch not provided for spectators. Spectators are not allowed on the Playground at lunch.
NEW DISMISSAL PROCEDURE: If a student has to leave before lunch (12:00) they must be checked out in the office. After lunch students will be allowed to sign out outside at the Track Shed. Any student signed out before 2:00pm will be counted against attendance as an absence. Students must be signed out by a parent or guardian.
